“PAINS THAT I KNOW” by Bill Charles ~~~~ I asked for your caring, all I received was grief, and I wondered why, my heart is not a thief… It’s gentle and kind, but was presented with all this sorrow, broke in half it did, not knowing if there was a tomorrow… The emotions that we once shared, were kind and of grace, a touch was one, very tender, gentle embrace… Your sweetness like heaven, I remember it very well, but both changed for some reason, and off a cliff they fell… Now I’m torn deep inside, and I know that you are too, neither knows what happened, we just can’t seem to continue… Perhaps it was a sharp tongue, where words were once aglow, all I know is, I’m torn apart by many, of the “Pains That I Know” ~~~~ |

It is sad when sweet turns bitter, Bill. Nicely expressed, these words of yours. Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
