Caliginous cacophony filled with slag
DarkSong bellows a tune to DarkRag
Mysterious melancholy chills made of
DarkRainbow shadows over DarkDove
Profound pedantry from each mouth
DarkTraveler journeys to DarkSouth
Depravity deepens and splits the whole
DarkSilver drained from each DarkSoul
Gloom gathering silent monotony
DarkSea slicing into DarkNanny
Doleful drums midnight stabbin’
DarkCrag falls prey to DarkTabin
Penumbral pulses have no choice
DarkAngel can silence DarkVoice
Wild wounds stirred into salt
DarkCat slashes into DarkWalt
Secret seminaries in darkened cowl
DarkFemme quiets the hoot of DarkOwl
Hell’s halls are the Devil’s mine
Hidden from sight is DarkdeVine

I like this very much! Is this a certain type of writing? Are there rules for it? Wow, this is very cool   I'm saving this    SEA

Thank you all..this is a repost from the early days of the forum. We had a lot of 'dark' poetry then so I took liberties with the names of the regulars..if you read closely you'll see some of our friends in here....

PdeV,

Wow! Thoroughly enjoyed this. Very well done.
Don't know the people but got that it was a piece written about other poets and their style of writing or the subject they tackled most.  Very good job. Panne

Well at least I know why the Dark Nanny ended up getting sliced.

Love alliteration: The perfectly purloined pelican purchased passage on a parachuteless plane. Perhaps you're puzzled.
