misconceived events
like robinhood heroism
unimpressive negativism
towards living a life!
ah! forget about
making a decent living
if you live unjustly
with an ill-considered
fruitless chauvinism

prejudiced beyond comprehension, i am!

speak easy my friend,
speak easy my dislike,
speak easy so i understand
speak easy that i may be fair
that i do not have to say
"sorry, i got you wrong,
all this time you were my friend
and i took you for
a forgone conclusion,
a source of challenge,
an event for hatred,
a particular distaste"

of couse, it is never my fault
your first impression was a blot,
and all i did was hit bull's eye
on the dart board of personal views
just a different opinion of you, i had
just like all the millions of voters
casting their vote in the ballot box
hoping to change the world
thinking the power in their choice
based on first impressions
just like me, just like you
or rather unjust like me,
unjust towards you

now, what do you want from me?

do you want me to beg forgiveness?
forget it, mate!

hey, between the ayes and the nays
the nays won, just get that straight!

faults are meant to be hidden
deep inside the black holes
like fears inside the souls
like half-told truths and hidden lies

bigotry in closed quarters
there is no higher ground
while we are still on this earth
yes, we are still on this plain,
so you definitely can't complain
so stop blaming me for my wrongs
if they harmed you
personally, i will admit to flaws,
but i can't let no one judge me
for that is not fair.
neither should you have let me
judge you or compare
so now, it's all your fault.

be sorry to yourself,
never to admit it though
but do not regret meeting me
just as you should not
regret anything else in life
accept the fact and get on with it
wrap your knees with
bands of confident straps
and get ready to kick
i will be ready to receive for
i have learnt the stuff

it is high time that
you do your bit of learning
you are not in a school anymore
it is time to be tough
time for some practical education

guess what, i have hardly been
nasty
to you
others will follow, but you better
be prepared
fight your fight
with decently marked odds
and never gamble on your
emotions or intuitions
for they are almost certain to
mislead you
trouble you
surround you
corner you

just like i am doing now
but, i still am not being nasty yet

the rest of the world will
now agree
to what i say --
what says the world?

(°!°)
hi all, this is something I just jotted down on a 30 minute travel in a tram that had to go through serpentine queue of traffic... thought I should share... thanks

To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world.
