May Play Virginia Salter blustery wind blows and blows on the mountaintop the snows flying ‘round like blizzard sighs fogging up our springtime eyes May is here and so’s its sun sparring with the clouds for fun punching holes where e’er it may splicing lightning in the day tumbling thunderheads around harmonizing hailstones’ sounds swishing, rumbling, swirling rains clogging up the city’s drains violence unleashed, and how! whether with a grand “kapow!” what will be the final play to color up the end of day? © May 9, 2000 |

VAS, we had this yesterday and more "Kapow's" today. May may indeed prove an interesting play. Thank you for the read. INclan |

Vancouver's weather is getting on my nerves! You hang out the wash in the sun, then hailstones the size of golfballs bean you trying to get it in out of a monsoon! It is nuts! Where is Spring? Great poem Virginia. ~*~ I write ~ Therefore I am ~*~ |

Spring's right here. This poem was written last year...I think. I'd have to go back to the previous page to be certain...I've such an over 50 memory. Thanks for sinking down to read this one, Mysteria. Thanks, Inclan for reading, too, and causing me to go back and read my poem to understand the 'kapow' remark. I'm pathetic aren't I? |
