I sit silently watching Through the window As the sky opens up Rain comes pouring down Suddenly the light of day Turns into the black of night This mirrors the metamorphosis Going on inside of me lately Perhaps it is a turning point Which will help me etch The path that leads me to A long awaited future There are times my mind Clouds up like the sky Before she unleashes The elements upon us These are the times Everything looks gray I really can’t tell which way I should choose to follow For they both look the same To my weary eyes sometimes So I follow blindly Placing faith in the Lord I trust He will point the way That I am meant to tread At the end, He awaits me With a reward for my faithfulness For even when the road was bleak I continued to persevere I knew in my heart that He Would lead me home to heaven Where I will gather with those Who have come before me Friends, family, and loved ones Will reunite and rejoice in His glory Outside the storm continues to rage Rain falls upon the ground heavily Thunder rolls and lightning streaks Yet inside my heart a rainbow appears It serves as a symbol of the rebirth Of a spirit that shall always endure All writing comes |

Sometimes our faith is tested, but that's the time to remember what we believe. It's hard, but it's worth it in the end! Wonerful work Jennifer....hope that things look up for you soon. |

LoneWolf~ When our faith is tested, we are shown the ways to become stronger. Relying on our faith draws the perfect map that we need to follow. 'Perhaps it is a turning point Which will help me etch The path that leads me to A long awaited future' *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

I have found that life has many crossroads and sometimes one road is no more right or wrong than the other. In these cases I believe that is not testing us but allowing us a choice in how we will fufill that which He wants us to do. As to tests of faith I believe, from what I have studied, that God will no test us but rather He allows us to be tested. I like this piece. It accurately describes the crossroads that we all come to. Very well penned. The White Wolf If life is just a game, when does it end cause I want to get to what is real. |
