In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2001-05-10 10:07 PM

Lost in you
I stand screaming
Your voice in my head
Softly calling,

In you lost
I lay weeping
I feel silence
Deep inside me
My soul echoes
My heart feels pain
Where traces of you remain,
The rain falling, my tears

In shades of midnight
I write to you by candlelight as you
Lay sleeping, I can no longer hear
Your sweet slumber, but I know you are there
I feel your warmth, your breathing still
Guides me to the haven of my
Dreams among the stars

I love you for the passion I feel when
I close my eyes, for the inspiration of your
Beauty, for the colors I use to
Paint our canvas of time gathered
In vibrant colors
      Walking in summertime,
Gently falling snows of winter
Autumn leaves blowing

Time is all I have

Upon the dawn, your calming
Peace renews my heart,
Where again we
dance in salvation

Time
stands still

One could not help but to close her eyes and see the colors you painted.  So vivid - I loved it.

oh L, you already know I felt every exquisite word of this,
and I know where this level of inspire comes from ...
and the need to feel and then write it...
God this is beautiful, I just wish we didnt have to live it to write it so intensly...
and the rest...you already know *S*
love ya for this one sweet poetess of the stars
and now I will give these words back..
as you know how much they mean to me...
but they belong here with this poem

Though my soul may sit in darkness,
It will arise in perfect light.
I have loved the stars too fondly
To be fearful of the night".

Needed to read this one tonite....
miss you sweet emerald poetess

Well tomorrow holds only mystery
And who's to say what might be
But in you I found a love so strong
The sun and the moon looked on in jealousy
