I have never understood love -
how it grows between people
like good grasses, and how you have to
keep clearing larger spaces for it,
until your lover has a field so large
he is truly free as a white-tailed deer
roaming the high Montana Rockies.

In the mountains the air is so thin
you need a friend with whom to climb,
lightheaded on the path, and our stories
reveal not only failures of nerve,
but moments released
in the country of grieving,
where we are sure only
of the marked trail,
small dangers,
the names of a few birds,
the way down.

Very nice
LITL,
†Heather†

Without the experiance of love where would we be? We would have no memories to cherish.
With love it brings hurt with hurt bittersweet memories.

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk in the room...
