She drew a breath when she espied
the knight in his despair
her fire had the power to heal
as she saw him kneeling there

The pain he felt was deeply etched
'round his eyes wet with tears
she knew her cleansing fire could
take the pain he'd felt for years

But in giving peace to the knight
she lost a bit of her own soul
she died a little with each fiery tendril
but the knight stood up, now whole.

And she considered it her gain, not her loss. *S*

This is wonderful, PDV... I don't know if it's a repost or not... I just know it's a very welcome read!  *S*

This is wonderful, why do the knights always have more strength than us or do they?

With youth long spent
And eyes cast back
Save pain and woe
The knight did lack

The knight had fought
A life in blood
His true trade Death
Red tidal flood

To Lady Worm
He gave his worth
By cleansing flame
He sought rebirth

Kneeling before
He gave no strife
She kissed him once
To afterlife

I understand where you were going with this one, but it also made me think of another possibility.  Thank you for being the catalyst.  Peace!

Very nice Sharon. It fits you

LITL,

Without the experiance of love where would we be? We would have no memories to cherish.
With love it brings hurt with hurt bittersweet memories.
