The cat knew where it was at She just wasn’t saying all that Not to the dog Not to the mouse Not to the kids Playing by the house To another she would not say On this or any other day Where it was at Because she was the cat And that as they say Is that! So off the calico did go For where it’s at the cat did know Over the fence Around the tree Through the bushes And on past me The only one upon her trail Was the twitch within her tail Hypnotically slow Swaying too and fro It did not show The way to go For where it is at Remains to the cat And she just wasn’t saying all that |
