My Thoughts

I sit here alone at my machine,
wondering what all this means.
Should I go visit some friends of mine?
Since for me they never have the time.

I think I could go for a walk.
Maybe find someone to talk.
That's a joke I know all too well.
My thoughts are silent,can't you tell?

The thoughts I have are all so real.
No soul on earth,knows how I feel.
My head is swimming,around and around.
As for my friends,they can't be found.

So I sit alone with my thoughts of why.
Is it because I did not try?
Now I sit at home all alone.
No one to call on the phone.

My thoughts they hurt my very core.
Should I endure anymore?
My thoughts are silent once again.
Is this the way the story ends?

and I, sit here alone at my machine and read your words and the phone sits silent and I cry......but we are not truly alone, sometimes it seems that way and this is a sad piece.....thank you
