Just inside heaven's gate
Is where you said youd be
You'd meet me underneath
The beautiful birch tree

This arrangement we had made
Just before you passed away
How my life was turned upside down
How my sunny days became grey

I cannot tell you exactly
Which day I will be there
But for now I'm needed here
There are many for whom I care

The last two years have been difficult
As my life has moved along
How hard I've tried to be happy
How hard I've tried to be strong

Not a single day goes past
When I don't think of you
And when I close my eyes at night
You will often come into view

Such a very touching poem, Sue...

Your dangers are many. I
Cannot look much but your form suffers
Some strange injury

Sue,

Both touching and sad, my friend.

I could have writtten this.  Two years is a moment sometimes and forever at others. But you have that promise.  Joyce

Thank you for reading this......Sue

Michael
I'm sure you know how I feel.  Thanks....Sue

Joyce
It is difficult for me as on the 30th May it will be the anniversary of my father's death so I guess that explains all this outpouring of emotion from me....you see it first hand in my writing, I tend to try and hide it from others.  Take care......Sue

SueTang, your tender heart is heard, and I am sure your thoughts are heard by a very proud Father, for if he sees how you and your writing have grown in the short time I have known you, he is smiling down on you now.  Hugs sweetie!

What a lovely thing to say......I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Sometimes I think I let people see too much of myself that many others don't see but I take so much comfort in my writing and it helps me so very much.  Take care....Sue
