Hi there  I thought I'd put this one up to see what you think Forever I’m everything in life that you don’t see. I was just a fleeting dream I was a thread within the cloth The trickling of the stream. I never looked you in the eye, You never saw my face. Even if you looked for me You wouldn’t find a trace, For I am all around you now: Everyone, and everything. I am the wind that moves your hair, The tiny birds that sing. I’m the grass on which you walk The brook in which you wade; I am the busy city streets, The lonely everglade The willows weeping all their tears For things I’ll never see. Memories turned to ashes, Dreams of things I’ll never be… If wings of gold were on my shoulders, And diamonds in my hair, If I came down to visit you Would you still be there? Would you look into my eyes, And see into my soul? Could I look at you and think ‘You would make me whole’? All these questions that I ask, Replies I’ll never see. But do not think that what you did Never meant a thing to me. For all I am is what you saw And I am that still, For our lives may not go on…. But our hearts forever will.
