~*~ ANGEL WINKS ~*~There are so many poets who sit and write, Sharing poetry full of emotion, right from their heart, Some of these souls are so very troubled, And write out their pain, so this is a good start... A start ... to let go of their worries, and pain, Write out their fear, and, hope for some peace. I send you all my understanding and that is why, I wrote with love to each of you, this little piece. You see, we each has a Guardian Angel, She or he diligently reports to a Creator above, Their job is to protect you from all evil, Keep you safe, and wrap your heart in love. They are not allowed to leave your side, It doesn't matter where you go, or what you do, Though you might not feel that they are there, Trust me, they are there watching over you. So on bright, crystal clear evenings, With no clouds for them to hide behind, Look really close in the sky, way, way up, I bet a dollar that you will find... A great big star you saw, just twinkled, You see that was not an ordinary star at all. It was your Guardian Angel winking, Staying close by in case you should call. So when troubles of the day seem huge, And bill collectors are on your phone, Take it in your stride, watch your health, And ignore them as they try to pick your bones! Remember now, you are never, ever alone! When you get down, look up into the sky. I know you are thinking that doesn't pay bills! But it lifts your spirit, and a wink will get you by. ~*~ Remember to wink back! ~*~ ~*~ Mysteria ~*~ © Copyright 2001 All Rights Reserved [This message has been edited by Mysteria (edited 03-27-2001).] |

A poet friend told me I should read this and I'm really glad she did. Not only did it inspire me it reaffirmed some things. Short, silly story to illustrate. A few weeks ago, I changed my screen saver so that it floated around and said 'I'm so screwed' (beccause that was how my life was going) but then a few days ago I 'looked up' and things began to change. I felt I should acknowledge that somehow because I was very grateful. I didn't know how, though. Until I sat down here and saw those words floating around. I changed them to 'I'm so blessed'. Thank you so much for this sweet, wonderful, reaffirming poem. |

Oh My!...Sorry I didn't think so many would read this, here I am! Melissa: thank you I did this for the child in all of us, and for those children in us that are truly going through a hard time and suffering in some way. Dreamless: You made my day! ParisGrl: I am so happy you felt peace, that is what friendship is for! You see that is my purpose of this plain...to make another human being happy, so my work today is done, and it is I that thank you. WayoutWalt: You are precious - I do believe that was a compliment? JLR: I am so glad you felt uplifted - however, you have not heard the last of me now! I was late getting back to the comments on this, but will email you. Thank you all - as you are what make all this worthwhile. [This message has been edited by Mysteria (edited 03-29-2001).] |
