If Only...

In all honesty
I love you...
the way you touch me with your eyes.
How they never seem to "blink" me away.
I love the softness of your fingers,
that graze me, leaving me wanting them
to remain, warmth to warmth,
skin to skin, yours to mine...
always.

I love the tallness of you against me,
as I press you to my thoughts, desires.
How you lift me in your arms
bringing me closer to your lips...
carrying me to a place
I have never been before.

I love your holding me, securing me
in the gentlest of arms,
arresting my worries, bound by time
wanting it to stand still...
a moment of forever.

I can love you like no other.
You hold the magic in your hands
that can bring me to my knees,
weakened by a word,
a look, a kiss.
I could be yours
if only...
