I must be getting senile - I do not think I posted this -I just wrote it 4/30 = but 'search' did not reveal its posting - ~sigh~

Your hair - I suppose
This could be a senryu
A mere seventeen syllables
A short paean to its beauty

But were I to so cease
Would be a sin beyond
My ability to comprehend
For in its waves tis like the sea
In its scent gardens of Gallilea
As it frames your face only
It takes second place

Yet more I sing of your hair wet
In bath or shower
Glorious you bet

Your hair - I suppose
I could conclude now
Yet you know I'd admit
What pleases me most
As each strand I plow
Wielding comb and brush
To love you and please you
To stroke out its glory
Caress it to please me
Caress it and kiss you

Your hair - I suppose
Is just strands of protein
But like your eyes
There's much more to its sheen
So let me simply confess
That I love your hair
And more - all that you are
For I do find you so fair

The first duty of love is to listen.

Very nice Bill.  Some days I wonder if I'm getting senile too.  *s*

black rivulets
                 curl
round one's heart
                 in passion's swirl
lost in
          love's tresses

Excellent!

Day in Day out...My love for you grows.
Without you, my life would be empty. So I hold my mustard seed of faith in us.

I think you write so many lovely love poems that there are quite a few out there we haven't yet seen.  This is nice.  Joyce
