You Know Who You Are

How is it you have come
to believe yourself a god
holding the final opinion
the only right way
to live another’s life
I wish you could feel what you do to her
when you speak your cowards words
in a place she only goes for peace
you’re not a man
for that would make you human
that can’t be
no heart beats within your chest

Someone messed up that probably shouldn't have, neh?  Serious angry words going on here, all of them emotionally direct.  Spill it out, cool the hot, make them pay, then they'll rot.  the old "sticks and stones" lyric might be proven wrong here, cuz the intent behind these 'words' is enough to stone someone, me thinks.

Excellent use in the department of lyrical spillage of emotions.

Hurrah to her suitor! LP

Day in Day out...My love for you grows.
Without you, my life would be empty. So I hold my mustard seed of faith in us.

JLR- too bad there are so many people like the one you described, so insensitive to others. Great poem!
