The water glistened
Cheery blue
A year ago today

The water was dark
Tumultous
Today

The water was muddy
Surrounded with flowers
Three years ago today

Wish you were here
Wish I could be the one
To see you today

Instead of looking
At crushed flowers
The cold ground
And a lonely grave

Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go.
