When I was a child, I saw through my mother's eyes. So careful, she gave me love, the one that you can trust. Lovingly, she taught me hope, in a world that's sometimes lost. Years went by, and I realized, that my mother had many flaws, no one's perfect, I now know. Still, I saw through my mother's eyes. Today, my mother has many chronic illness, the ones that torture you but keep you alive. Somedays,it seems she loses hope, and now I'm trying for her to see, through my own eyes, then ones that she taught hope. [This message has been edited by walker (edited 05-01-2001).] |

There is fantasitic book entitled, Through Another's Eyes. Yes, we are taught many things about life, love and ourselves by looking through another's eyes. Good write. "I am not now that which I have been." |

Yes we are taught by the one closest to us, when we are young. Good or bad. You are lucky to have each other. Love, Joyce |
