On Pillowed Thoughts

Tomorrow I will see you, as always,
in my return to morning dreams.

I will hold the look in your eyes,
as they shared in my depths.

Knowing I couldn't reach the heart of them,
with the heart of mine, has left me numb,

almost silent of thought and all I can do now
is replay, what I thought once was.

Forever, I will feel the pain, that touches me now,
as words fail to reach me, to hold me,

the notes to your charm missing,
reminders of others always rising,

halting my every forward move, and
secrets circulating in my head.

Spinning, with dizzying effect,
I leave here once again,

to lay on pillowed thoughts ...
of only you.

I sometimes wonder why mine have to almost disappear first before being caught by anyone...it could be timing........or could be I am not in the loop that is closer on here..I pretty much try to keep to myself..I feel as long as I am happy with my writing that is all that matters.. thank you very much for your kind words..huggzzz
