As I walked this morning through the park.
Stopped on a bridge to watch a small creek.
The waters current flowed beneath me.
On one side, from beyond, traveling slowly.
But, the other side, speeding currents, quickly pass.
Kind of like life.
Standing on the great divide of past memories currents,
Wanting to hold on and watch, just a moment longer.
As I move to the other side,
watch life speed up,
unsure of where the current is taking me.
Beyond.
And, yet I wonder.
How many times have you stood here?,
perhaps on this very same spot.
And, have you ever had this same thought.
I whisper your name on the passing current.
and stand to pay tribute to the turbulent waters
which carry your name to beyond.
God's speed, my friend.

Yes ... been on that memory bridge a time or two.
Always wanted to hang on ...

This flowed so gently~

The waters flow, life moves on, but one just can't help but wonder if for just a moment....time stood still for another in the same way it did for us.  Beautiful write Gemini.
