She was famous for her many words And he was famous for his few We listened with half an ear To all the words she spilled The words he spoke Were in bold letters Engraved across your heart Her words were remembered too But were like titles To paraphrased paragraphs It was the substance Of their consistency That mattered His few words spoken Were like shiny red apples Placed in a crystal clear bowl Hers were wild flowers Gathered from Springtime meadows And with great excitment cast Lying tossed at your feet Mere words Yet they were mirrors Of two hearts Love Reflections That last. |

~Aah Songbird,...I loved the way your words portrayed 'their' words in this. The wildflowers were such a touch! All of this is creatively thought out, put together and then shared. Enjoyed. *Peace. |

Songbird, "they" sound like a complimentary pair. I enjoyed this very much, very imaginative writing. Thanks for it. Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

SongBird~ This is just so lovely ~ I thought of a heart-shaped locket with his and her words contained within. You created a lovely memory-maker ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it, it is funny how those opposites compliment each other. I have known alot of couples like this, who just seem meant for each other. |
