It was only just two months ago That I put my pen to write Some ideas suddenly came to me Just like a flash of light With a little hesitation I decided to submit my poems Through a place where I'd feel welcome Where I would find my second home The poems I read here moved me Soon, so many letters I'd receive I realised my words were helping others I felt like I was doing a good deed The more poems I'd submit The more letters would come my way It was about this time that I met you Your kind words just made my day A lovely lady named Kate How her kind words gave me a lift Her friendship I was soon to find Would be such a precious gift You'll never really know How much you've helped me along the way So much that you have done for me There's so much that I should say But words cannot do justice Even though this poem I write I just wanted you to know You've been like a guiding light We've shared a lot of sorrow So much warmth from you I did feel You were always there with a helping hand No matter how sad you did feel How very blessed am I to know That I have you as a friend And although you carry so much sorrow I hope your heart so soon will mend TO MY FRIEND KATE FOR HER FRIENDSHIP AND ENCOURAGEMENT......WORDS ARE NOT ENOUGH Suetang |

How coincidental...I loved your poem and I too have a friend Kate that your poem's words relate too. I wonder if all Kate's are the same? Very well done and I shall send this to my Kate so she can see there is another as kind and wonderful as she is. I really enjoyed this one, thank you. Please visit me at my new homepage: |

Sue, I am so touched by this lovely poem you've written for me. I have enjoyed watching you grow in your writing and I've enjoyed reading all of your poetry. You have always been a pleasure to talk to and I value our friendship so much. Kate Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood. |

This is so lovely in depicting my friend and yours, Kate. She is so openly human and accessible. Talent and goodness within one being is truly possible. Thank you for expressing what many of us feel. "I am not now that which I have been." |
