Jesus asked Simon Peter, three times, do you love me? Jesus knew that Simon Peter loved him. But he also knew that loving is not easy. True love is total commitment. True love is complete loyalty. True love is to surrender. In order to love you have to be humble, because love is constantly tested. Loving brings many risks and causes grief. But ultimately, loving sets you free and that's enough for me. Do you love? How much? Is it enough to withstand the wind when it blows? Do you love me? Jesus asked Simon Peter, knowing the answer. |

My response in two different realms would come down to humility...in one I am, in the other i'm afraid, I am not. Deep thought! |
