Repost:

             The voyage

Steeped from dreams like tea from leaves
Pushed by puffs of memory gusts.
The mind sails in lacy weaves
In the past of omnibus.

Through storms and fog and nights of doubt,
This vessel rights on heart and might
And never will it come about,
Till eyeing shoal or goal in sight.

What cannot eye will come to be.
For every try there is a latch,
For every lock there is a key,
For every key there is a match.

The soul of love steers this course,
Into an end that's yet to come.
It goes beyond the albatross,
To reach and meld two souls as one.

For souls that join and meet the test.
Are those that live and love the best

one is baptized in waves of wisdom...
and bathed in rhyme divine.

Though my soul may sit in darkness,
It will arise in perfect light.
For I have loved the stars too fondly ...
To be fearful of the night.

"For every key there is a match"

Are you SURE, Seymour? *G* Cuz yanno... this voyage would be a lot more pleasant if I had some help with the rowing! LOL. Seriously... great work... and I'll just keep hoping on that last couplet. *S*
