I am a fool I know I am-- a hero's journey without plan and every time I take a step, I know I trek a path unchecked-- But still there is resounding hum mantra of this thing undone Aleph--Bayet- Life and Death continuum shallow-depth darkness--light, exhale, inhale, a glimpse in dark of fleshly pale the madness of a clock in tick- suspicion--there must be a trick-- I must not be the only one undone by time's cruel pendulum. May all my busy-ness of mind just like the clock, become unwind the circle of two hands in spill- within the center--time stands still. In the center, find the door. In nothingness you will find more. To find the treasure hid by hell, you must first trek path of self. As hands of clock encircling, you'll find yourself encompassing-- be wary of your hands want more... Within the center? Open door. [This message has been edited by serenity (edited 04-26-2001).] |

"In the center find the door" Serenity, sweetie I missed reading your poetry but I'm back now and here to stay and I wanna say this poem is absolutely great... Sometimes the steps we take in finding the center may take a lil time but once we're there we discover the door is ajar as we then proceed in strength of stride across the bridge of tomorrow's new paths... |

i forgot to say that an open Dor or a closed Dor is a major theme with me... hehe.... i try to keep mine closed tight as a drum but... lol... sometimes actual light slips in and the Dor opens up.... still gotta keep the weather stripping on though... y'know? there's a keyhole i sometimes put masking tape on, btw, just in case you need to explore that option... *grin |

Hey lucy! thanks....the "Aleph-Bayet" first two letters of the Hebrew alphabet...which according to a kabbalic tradition I once studied represented.. life/death....although the spelling of Bayet is up for grabs depending on whom you study---I KNEW you would ask!!!! Thanks, and love ya much! |
