she moves
through the house of love
with grace and refinement
you can see it as she walks
and when she speaks
you can see her eyes glisten
when she tells of new love
and you can see the tears
when she tells of love lost
and when she writes
she tells the stories of a woman
who has known love in her life
yet, not just this life,
but the lives that she has known before
lives that have spanned the ages
love that has spanned the ages
history does not tell her story
but poets and minstrels do
we know her as she is
as she was
as she ever will be
she is the
Lady in White

through dark and silent, shadowed halls
came soft a voice of one who called
"Lady, would thou come with me,"
so I followed his voice through history...
