How long will I wait to face the demon,
That angelic beast of Jerusalem?

He saved me then,
but ignores me now,
with droves of needy men.

"Put on your coat and suck it up."
"Leave childish things for children."
Now, wake up and face the fact
of the horrid world we live in.

Unrequited love sucks.

Does your signature reflect the attitude you are conveying in your poem? This is intense..I hope if you do feel this way that life turns around for you soon.

Actually, no.  My signature doesn't have anything to do with this poem specifically.  Although, I do have plenty of poems about unrequited love.

But anywho, thanks for the comments!

Unrequited love sucks.
