Well, Ah'm a sanitation engineer And Ah'd lak ta makes one thing clear Dis Earth Day ain't what Ah likes Spearing trash after wit ma pike Dere's beercans, bottles, litter Condoms, needles, sparklin glitter Flyers, leaflets and propergandy Fast food wraps and half-et candy Now, what's Ah'm wonderin is where The folks is that say they's care Earth Day ain't jus a one-shot day S'gotta be goin on all da way So, while's Ah'm cleanin up yer mess Take some time and think of this: If'n ya really meant wut ya say Den Ah'd be 'laxin at home today Alicat |

Really nice use of dialect. Totally adds another dimension to the poem that makes it much more real. Unrequited love sucks. |
