Fading mood
Giving in to sadness
A never ending process
Slowly obliterating my ties
And my necessary walls of pure smiles.
Sometimes need to be a little wasteful
Of good moods and bright pictures.
Today...tonight..I don't know why,
But I'm sick of painting on a smile,
When I just want to cry on someone's shoulder,
But then..
I'm always whining it seems,
And people really don't like wet shirts.
I'm
Just
Falling
And
I don't want to get back up.

Sleep now, my willpower.
You've drowned in tears,
That I can't even cry.
A dry parched ground of emotion
That I can't seem to draw forth
Even with a flowing well of love beneath.

sometimes, you have to. . . you have to get back up. . . even when you don't want to. . . especially when you don't want to. . .

because if you don't. . . then, they've won. . .
