How I wonder

In my daydreams as I watch you.
I sketch the memory of you,
To delight my passion’s fire.
A vision as beautiful,
As a sunset dancing on water’s edge,
Flowing throughout my mind,
Constantly.

With eyes closed I see you,
In peaceful serenity of thoughts.
I feel your very being,
Surging through me,
A pulse I cannot deny.
It calls me constantly.
Dawn and Dusk.

I feel you,
Without touching.
I hear your voice,
In every song.
My heart beats for you,
Echoing through my soul,
Everlasting.

And I dream,
Of lips gently touched,
Sweet to the taste.
Intoxicating,
Supple and warm.
Imagining,
What it would be like,
To kiss you,
For an eternity.
A wish of hope.

To hold you,
A fragile flower,
Within arms so strong,
To keep you safe and warm .
To hear you breathe.
To feel you breathe.
I wish so hard,
To run my fingers,
Through tasseled hair,
Stare down upon your sweet face,
Naturally beautiful,
In all its wonder.
How I long,
How I wish,
How I wait,
How I hunger,
For your love.
