One quite night I dreamed of a softness The touch of lips I have yet to taste Once dreamed of never to be forgotten I will yearn until love I have faced Until time finds the one I dreamed Held within these arms I mustconfess Never will another night pass by me I don't go wanting that sleeps caress |

I really like the title Don. It sets up the verses very well.....I enjoyed the images you portrayed! The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up |

Thank you all for taking the time to read this poem. The dream that inspired it was more intense than these words can convey. They can never let you feel the loss of lonelyness or the memory of the touch. That dream was more real than any I have ever experienced before. Your words of praise are greatly appreciated. |
