Proud Tulips Virginia Salter The egos of my tulips must really be quite grand for there they stand with heads so huge and stems that lean aslant It seems it would be good if their leaves could be some taller that they might hold their heads up and maybe give a holler ©April 22, '01 |

Now those are some BIG tulips!!!! I love the bulb flowers, and tulips are some of the best.....just like this spring poem!! What part of Oregon are you in?.....I was born and raised there!! Live...Love...Be grateful for both!! |

If your tulips start to give a holler then I wouldn't want to be around. I love tulips but not when they holler like two lips! I enjoyed the read Virginia! The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up |
