Raining Words

I stand and let you rain your words
upon my body, all.
Releasing all you hurts on me
each drop does sting it's fall.
But in my heart I know what's true
and words just said mean naught.
I have the strength within my heart
No blame, take I, no fault.

I tried to share, to even love
despite the unbelief.
Sometimes what seems to be so right
is really fused with grief.
No matter how this all will end
no matter what the feel
the words once spoken each to each
were filled with loving, real.

Raining Thoughts (my reply)

Rain I always thought, fell from the sky,
not from someone loving, from their eyes...
Love to share, or share to love, it seems,
only thoughts and words, can kill dreams...

And when they are gone, never to come back,
hell could freeze over, but I'll always lack.
The warmth of my heart, it died over time,
just like pouring out a bottle, of good wine.

Don't think that words, can't do it,
for you're sadly mistaken, you'll take a hit...
A warm heart, will change to ice,
and it won't matter if seven, comes up on the dice..

OHHHHHHH sounds so revengeful and full of hurt and anger.  Sorry to see that you feel this way.  I am sure that you once had love in your heart for this person.
