Oh My Goodness (With love to Margie girl) Oh my goodness gracious whatever can the matter be There’s something the matter with my sweet Margie She’s feeling a bit under the weather, she’s not fine So I'm sending her this even if it’s only a little rhyme She would appreciate a smile sent to her from you So send her a message give her a friendly hug too She does so very much for those in these pages here Come on you poets and poetesses give her love to share Oh my goodness gracious whatever is it that’s wrong There’s something missing I know it’s Margie’s song She’s not feeling too special, she has a very bad chest So I'm sending her this little poem I’ll try my very best She needs her spirits lifting, come on give her a kiss Margie’s always there she’s never one to give it a miss Reach out your hand and send her your fondest smile Come on you Passion’s poets give her a huge love pile Oh my goodness gracious whatever is there to be done There’s something dark and cloudy over our Margie’s sun She’s not herself and you know she doesn’t ever moan So I'm sending her my love wrapped in this poems foam She needs a special song singing, lift up your poetic light Margie is the one that makes Passions hearts take flight Give her a smile as you pass through this poetic day Come on you other poets make her world with poetry sway Marsha |
