Let Me Be What I Could Become [Tag-Along-Add-On]

inspired by Auguste, Martie, and Mr. Yeats

let me be
     the heart of thee
          to warm by inspire
               to lift thee higher,
let me be
     the soul of thee
          a winged caress
               a tender bless

O let me be
all, to thee

Let me be the cozy
that wraps around your tea,
the healing steam your breath takes in,
I would be that for thee.

your moon, your sun, your stars, your sky
let me be ... your inspiration on high
let me be ... the forgiving tears you cry
the wind beneath wings of butterfly
the first breath you take ... the last you sigh
your happily ever after ... your never ending lullaby

your kiss of fate ... your dance with destiny
all these things for you ... I wish to be.

I love your imperfections ... I love your everything ...
Your broken heart ... your broken wings.

Let me be the satin icy light of distant suns, the joy when smiles reach eyes, the coverlet of friendship's close embrace,  the foamy surf and sound of seagull's cries.

This is gorgeous.  :-)  I'm glad that in part I was able to inspire you to write something so lovely.  Thanks for this.

(a few more)Let me be the loofah in your tub
To stimulate your skin when you rub
Let me be the candle in your eye
That sparkles every time I hear you sigh

Let me be the wine we clink together
The raincoat that shelters you from weather
Let me be the comforter that warms your bed
Let me be the lotion when your skin turns red

Let me be the dream you see
When your eyes close at night
Let me be the ecstacy
That fills you with delight
Let my word be what you heard
When seeking for the truth
And let me be the energy
Returning you to youth....

to be the moment all your dreams take flight
be the prayer you whisper to the angels at night
to be your first thought in the dawns breaking light
be the temptation you just cant fight
to be the reason all your wrongs become right

star light ... star bright ...
might I have this wish I wish tonight ...

needed to rhyme so I could sleep
goodnight all
love to poetry land

I love your imperfections ... I love your everything ...
Your broken heart ... your broken wings.

Let me be the breath,
You boast.
A wind to your spirit,
Love's soul host.

Let me be your haven,
In face of doors that are closed,
Let me be your princess,
Joined in spirit and soul, your betrothed.
Let me be your conquered quest,
Lost moments, now transposed.
Let me sing you thoughts of praise,
Your worries lull to pleasant repose.

Hmm..I hope you all don't mind if my brain makes it back that I take this (my part) into another thread all its own, there finishing it.   thanks for the inspiration!

Let me be
    Next to thee
    warm, you see
    loving thee

Let me be
    part of thee
    only we
    breathing free

Let me be
one with thee

Live for love. Without love, you don't live.

Let me be your very breath
Your sun, your every moon
And in your restless evenings
Let me be your music's tune

Let me be the one
     who holds you close
     when stormy waters
     rock the boat.
Let me be the rock
     on which you rest
     when this old world
     puts you to the test...
