May the wind carry you, Safe passage over troubled waters Dark and bottomless too, Stray from drowned and sunken martyrs In all that you do Set your sails to catch the breeze, A vessel that will be propelled A splash of spray to tease, Breaking the waves where oft compelled, Sail now, upon my sea Let my body carry you, Underneath forever in the stars Bright and eternal too, Smooth the violence of troubled waters If it’s the last thing we do So come and begin the journey, Promise not to sink in the swells Of varying depths of me, Where once I rose, and then fell, Come and sail upon my sea |

Good morning, PoeticKnight. This was just beautiful. I love the depths you can reach! "Often the test of courage is not to die but to live" |

You know PK. . . you and I think far too much alike. . . excellent. . . ------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

May the wind carry you, Safe passage over troubled waters Dark and bottomless too, Stray from drowned and sunken martyrs In all that you do =================================== A splash of spray to tease, Breaking the waves where oft compelled, Sail now, upon my sea Let my body carry you, Underneath forever in the stars Bright and eternal too, Smooth the violence of troubled waters If it’s the last thing we do ==================== Promise not to sink in the swells Of varying depths of me, Where once I rose, and then fell, Come and sail upon my sea ======================= as always with your work...its hard for me to single out fav lines, this one has so many unique and poetically creative phrases and images ... "Safe passage over troubled waters Dark and bottomless too, Stray from drowned and sunken martyrs" "Underneath forever in the stars Bright and eternal too," very cool lines there PK.... and then this is one is a classic example of the talent you have for writing with the subtle, yet intense sensual undertones that flow so poetically appealing thru the emotions expressed...and the depth from which they both come, and take the reader to ... is so very cool. another example of PK excellence and one of my personal fav's oh you speak to me in riddles |

Apparently, you have strong ties with the sea which enables you write such a nice love story, using what you know best. Melton |

"...begin the journey.." A directive nicely softened by the rest of your poem. Bob |

Such romance and compassion...you have a lovely way with words, PK. I'd like to use this in the next passions newsletter if that's alright. *Krista Knutson* |
