Please share with me Every detail of your life For we have missed Many moments together All those that have come Before we ever met I find it hard to believe You were always there Yet I was unaware of you Existing in another place Where I hadn’t even thought I should be looking I searched high and low For someone like you Checking here and there Except the one place That was right there In front of my face I often wondered If I would ever find you In the great sea of humanity Yet, one day, there you were Ready to meet someone Who would change your life You came to me As a ship seeks the harbor When the sky spews forth The fiercest of storms Hoping I would be Your guiding light I took you in willingly Wrapping you in my love Warming you with a heat Burning from deep within Radiating like a thousand candles Lit simultaneously The darkness lifted suddenly Making way for the light Shining bright as the sun Healing my wounded heart Obliterating the pain Of a life torn asunder The birds sang softly In tune with the feelings We both felt that first day They rejoiced in the moment For they alone beheld The renaissance of love Awakened gently by Cupid To a world that seemed so new It was as if we cheated time Going back to when All was fresh and untarnished By the elements of age I played quietly On the shores of desire Feeling alive for the first time In what seemed like ages Walking by the edge of the beach As the tide caresses me I lose myself to the feeling Of the water rushing over me Washing me in warmth and wetness Purifying me from within I emerge from the ocean of desire Cleansed and filled with passion One look into those pools of blue Is all it takes to ignite the flames And I become lost to the world Existing only in your eyes For you alone my love From now until the end of time All writing comes |

LoneWolf~ Just the loveliest of expression ... 'You came to me As a ship seeks the harbor When the sky spews forth The fiercest of storms Hoping I would be Your guiding light' Marvelous imagery ~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

I found my way here! Thanks! Funny that I stumbled upon this one...it spoke directly to me. I pray that one day I will find what you speak of. Never accepting a challenge, you will never feel the excitement of victory. |

redwinggj, Warmest welcome to you, my friend. I knew you'd find this place just fine. In my heart, I know you will find what you seek. You are way too good of a person for it to be otherwise. All writing comes |
