I was lost………………….somewhere in time Lost in shadows of memories ………………..and rhyme………… You were there ……………….walking with me Touching my heart………………..silently You knew of my weakness…….my need for peace Yet you would offer me………no release You kept toying with…………..and touching my soul As memories flowed………….taking their toll Yesterday meshed…….and melted within Reminding me over………….and over again And still I reached out……….pushed play to re-hear The melody of memory………………….. keeping you near ~SEA~ |
