~ * ~ I FEEL Love ~ * ~I brush a lock of your hair aside~ Bend over to kiss your tiny cheek. I love watching you sleep. Listening to you breathe~ You tickle my heart. I pray one day you will know~ The gift you have given me. I wished for this all my life. Felt for it in every breeze~ Looked for it in each~ Warming ray of sunshine. Where only cold breezes blew. Each prism of God's rainbows~ Somehow faded in mind's eye. I searched for it in every moonbeam~ Each star that shone in night's tiara~ In the gentle waves of the ocean~ In raindrops that fell like my tears. I stood out in the moonlight~ And wondered will it ever come? I watched, and patiently waited. As shattered tears of glass fell~ Dreams of it turned to dust~ Like fall leaves, it eluded me. Why not me? Others felt it. So embraced in its touch. Was I never to feel, The comfort of its gentle touch? I share this night again with you~ My darling little angel~ Heart of my heart~ Flesh of my flesh~ You are my very essence~ My inner strength~ You warm the center of my soul. You live in a place~ No one has ever seen. You reside in and have melted~ A once frozen heart. When you and I met we bonded. The winds shifted current~ In all the mountains and seas. Breezes whispered words of love~ As my dormant heart opened up. You rushed in on gossamer wings. Love now grows because of you~ Sun shines on cloudy days. I love you for you made me feel~ That which no one ever could~ ~*~ I FEEL love ~*~ ~*~ For my Granddaughter - my angel ~*~ ~*~ Mysteria ~*~ © Copyright 2001 All Rights Reserved [This message has been edited by Mysteria (edited 03-26-2001).] |

Oh, Mysteria...how very lovely this was. Spoken so tenderly, the voice of your heart proclaims very vividly the definition of love, and all that it encompasses. This took my breath away this morning....absolutely beautiful, sweet lady. Have a wonderful Sunday.....hugs and much love sent your way, Martha |

I loved this one, my friend. Only a small child could touch our heartstrings as Victoria has touched yours. This poem shows just a piece of your heart and it is so beautiful.. Kate Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood. |

Wow!!! I was shocked this morning to see you all on here and your lovely comments actually. You are sure wonderful people at this site. What I can say to you all is this...I never knew what real love was until this child came into my life. She is my sunshine (now I know how that person felt writing that song!); my anti-depressant, my walking comedy channel (who needs t.v.?) I am like an excited teenager waiting for her first date's arrival when she is coming to stay over, and am prepared with one of everything from every store too. She has my genes, she loves poetry and art, outside, whoopie...so we do a lot of walking, storytime and no t.v.! I will be blessed with another package of joy in November or December so ask me if I am in heaven? Thanks again, everyone, and I am planning to stay a long time at Pipps. I was just not too sure if some of what I write is poetry, but I sure love doing it, and I am soooooooo glad you seem to like it too. Thank you all so very much for making me feel at home here, and supporting my must by reading what she tends ramble on about. Bless you all! ~*~ Mysteria ~*~ |

Sharon, You obviously love your grand-daughter very much. Poetry is a heartfelt combination of words reaching out to people, touching their hearts, and in turn having them reach back. I haven't been here long, but I feel a sense of belonging. I guess most of us wear our hearts on our sleeves in here. I don't faint at the sight of blood. lol Thanks for your words. Coyote...if you faint we shall catch you! I haven' been here long either but feel this is now my poetic "home" away from home. Thank you for reading my tribute to the most perfect being I have ever seen, but then I could be a tad biased. KismetKelsey....Welcome gurl! About time! Hope you find your way around, any questions you just ask and a million people will come a runnin - thanks for reading. |

Mysteria, this makes me think back to when I had my own sweet daughters. I wish I had thought to write something for them, then. But that was before I started writing again. I'm sure your grandaughter will treasure it when she is old enough to understand it. Dee I wish you every happiness and may you always have the best of the good things in life. a brand |
