she stood at a window sash hand at throat eyes aghast soul stealing through the velvet night hollow cries echoing under sirens screaming shrill raising the little hairs on her arms and neck she lost her soul she lost her self hollow core shallow grave to fill collapsing inward imploding weightless ...now on notes of sirens shrill carried onward through the gates of hell |
