Bleeding from these ears and eyes And scars that run too deep Within this ivory tower Built by she who bore me Upon the very hour I first drew breath Bleeding from these fingers and This tongue on shattered teeth Within these iron fetters Gnawing on these shackles Surrounded by my betters As they excel Bleeding from this shredded heart And tired, voiceless lips Within this lightless prison Fashioned then abandoned Beneath those damned, arisen Who cannot feel Sing while you may -The Prophet Qa'sepel Your pain is for you alone, As it is, As it was, As it will be forever, Amen -The Prophet Qa'sepel [This message has been edited by Ian Llewellyn ap-Griffith (edited 05-26-2001).] |
