Private Darkness When the dense oily shadow descends on me I can find no escape, no comfort The blossom of hope is snatched away visciously And my heart bleeds fear The shadow suffocates my light and steals my dreams Wringing every drop of hope and pleasure from life An impossible weight drags and buries all energy So far beneath memory, it might never have been I try to flee when i feel its ominous presence But there is no hiding place Fear grips me and freezes me to await Inevitable annihalation of my will There is no escape no sanctuary The womb that once protected me has gone So i curl my body foetally anyway and wait ................. |

Such innocence expressed through your womb imagery. So true and relative to the bad experiences and psychological needs in life. |
