I sort of feel like I'm disappearing as I walk down the street tonight. Like the fog from the street lights is dissolving me. And there's happy couples drinking tea. The steam settles and grows mildew along my lips. Mocking my existence. I'll look toward home, eyes glued to the concrete. A touch is maddening... Detached from my body, asking why they've laid they're fingers upon me. Charity. It's been a long time. There's no almost. all or nothing. I sort of feel like disappearing. I like this poem a lot and I can definitely relate... Let go of your concept of reality and try mine for a while...then we'll see how long you last. |
