* * *

Dead end. Dead town.
And scared to look down you walk alone
Shades of rats in the corners
Loads of corpses on the roads
Lonely weeping sounds just as dead as silence.

Birds sing. Wind blows
Just like yesterday it goes unbroken
Is it somebody's revenge or somebody is playing games?
Is it a method to clean the space? Is it a complicated maze?
Or it is just a way the nature changes its face?

Sunlight. Quiet street
Only your steps you hear - everyone is gone
Bars where you used to get drunk are open but dark
The bordello is empty. Mad dog on the corner barks
But you ain't scared anymore; everyone is marked.

Nowhere to hide. Basements are full
Of desperate souls who are scared to death
Some went crazy before the pestilence touched them
Stepping on warm rocks, watching your weak breath
You pass them coldly and stubbornly walk west.

* * *

...somos los locos para siempre
para siempre te amo
   mi vida...

I like this, I like it a lot. Be back because there is more in your write than one read can bring out. Nice job.

I read this again, real nice write here. Basement full of souls, you can so much with that and you did. Nice.
