Words are a lie.
An endless joke.
Promises made. Promises broke.
Who needs words, they're so meaningless.
Like a bottomless ocean,
Sinking into an endless abyss.
No more words for me to speak.
Or phony promises I don't plan to keep.
For all the talking that I'll give.
Is by others to watch the way I live.
For your walk is far much important than your talk.
So don't shout your game in hopes to win.
Cause I already know, We all sin.
Now take your talking down to a low roar.
For my ears are bleeding and can't take anymore.
Just SHOW me what your all about.
And learn to shut your freakin mouth.

Oooh...  I like the underlying rage in this piece and how you weave religious beliefs into your poetry.  Something you were taught or learned?

Thanks. I just write what is inside. Sometimes good sometimes bad. I just seem to roll with the punches in my life and hope to make the best of them.
