Profound words heard in vain war and peace it's just a game as man explores outer space, the human race dies in disgrace! Profits made,battles won by another form of gun what is yours,I'll have as well or I'll see you in hell! Handshakes in a conference room agreement made,already doomed! Talk of trade and prosperity disarmament,you could have fooled me! make a wish and make it clear it's the last you'll ever hear! |

This "thing" which you hope ends will never end, it is the way of humans, we have fought wars for as long as we have been on this earth...sadly some things will never change. Very thoughtful poem, I liked it. |
