Your voices rise, frustration and anger flashing back and forth. Tension builds in a closed circuit with violent words flung from one end to the other, faster and faster 'til I fear they'll explode. That's when I hide. I jam my words back into my heart and shut them up tight. I don't yell for you to stop. I don't ask you why you stay together. I don't tell you that it hurts. I just lock away my words. And with all the shouting being done, you don't even notice my silence. Perseph1ne "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind." |

I can so painfully relate to that. I hope that your situation doesn't stay like that. It can be very crippling. I'm sorry for your misfortune. Written nicely. The future isn't now, that was yesterday. |

sometimes slience is stronger than words... "in a past life i was a woodcarver's knife: the sharpend blade of a wood cutter, the eldest son of the chief's brother: a maker of drums" |

yes, this very good. I especially loved the end. It had a bit of irony to it. great piece. ~Lex.. [This message has been edited by Lexy (07-24-2003 08:27 PM).] |
