Waffels and chocolate covered donuts...
The syryp, it drips from your lips
You said, "Ive always liked the way you taste"

Circus snow cones and jabbering clowns
Cotton candy if you promise not to cry.

Popcicles and bravery on some rollercoaster ride
"Look at the stars..." you screamed;
Yea, Im looking, "...Funny how they are as close to me
as you are..."
"Funny" you laughed.

Counting crows and mishapen hands;
"Miracules...simply miracules" you said.

Mysteries in pink , colors starting to fade
I waited so long,  for you

Two timing bibles and headphones that
stare from across the room.
"Sempre per la vita, Sempre per l' amor" You sang.

I whispered

"...my blood is -thicker-,  my pride -swallowed-,  countanance -weak-,  my tenderness -angry-,  my fingertips -rough-, eyes -off centered-,  my hands behind my back,  my lips -calloused-,  memories -evaded-,  my spirit -threatened-,  legs -shaking-, strands of hair -vexing-..."

"Huh...thats it...thats all? you smiled.

Nicely written...familiar

I once knew someone that writes like this, if only for a while...
