This is the first time I have written anything in about a year , and the first time here ... so be gentle : ) I have to much time to think latley , its becoming harder to pretend I don't see me . For so many years you slowly and methodically broke me down . You never saw me as me , only what you wanted me to be . I was your puppet not a child , never a daughter , only something else you could control ... I guess Mom wasnt enough . Did it make you feel strong to bruise me , did it feel good to see me cry ? It has been over five years and still ... I cannot forget . I just want you gone from my mind ... from my soul . You deserve no part of me . |

I can relate to an extent..for the past 22 years my mother has manipulated me, used me, blamed me and now for the past 7 years I've broke all ties with her, I have nothing to do with my family..what mother in their right mind would blame her own daughter of being molested? my mother has some serious issues and I give you *hugs* I am here if you care to [email protected] and you know the funny part is I rarely do the comment thing on another's poetry quite like this..but I hope it doesn't come off as pity but as sincere instead..
