Winter Nights I touch your sobbing face, feeling the end, You my love, I hold dearest of all, Our family’s feud will stop our love, So now out of this life we must fall. The bitter wind freezes the tears, As we take up the vial, This drink is to the family and The warring way that we are in denial. My lips suck at yours, tasting the sweet poison As it slicks through my dying frame, I look to your eyes and see the love A love that none could tame. The snow falls on our lives, December claims our breath, The end of the warm season Symbolised by our death This is not your average love, This is ours forever and beyond, In death we will win the fight, And savour the unbreakable bond That binds our souls into one, Beyond the winds of this night, Our mortal love grows more and more, As we step into the light… |

Peter, this sounds like one of those silent wars that just be stopped. You KNOW what's there, death is near. Sorry I'm the only one to comment on this...maybe you wrote it just for me, so thank you! |
